A true piece of American history, this c. 1880-1910 Double Irish Chain quilt includes starred indigo calico fabric on the front and is backed entirely in indigo polka dotted fabric. It's a little capsule of textile work in late nineteenth century America - a work of art to treasure and display. For its age, it's in good condition, but it does have signs of wear, such as darker areas & an area of torn binding.
